The Parks and Recreation Committee along with the Shiverfest Committee would like to present to you Temagami’s Annual Winter
Carvival: ShiverFest 2008!!!!
If you think you enjoyed last year’s events, get ready for more excitement this time around.
Everyday is filled with exciting activities. You can also take part in continuous contests & events throughout the carnival. These include:
1st Annual Youth Art Contest: The entries will be displayed Saturday from 9-2 and Sunday from 9-2 at the Gallery in the Municipal office. 1st place is $150.00; 2nd $75.00; and 3rd $50.00. Winners will be announced at the closing ceremonies. There will also be a draw for a Helen Hall original.
Carnival Buttons: Buy a button for $2.00 during the carnival and your name will be submitted in a 50/50 draw!!!
Temagami Merchant Receipt Draw:Fill out your receipt after any purchase at participating merchants and win prizes. There will be draws for Thurs./Fri/Sat/. Prizes awarded at wrap-up on Sunday. Hosted by Temagami & District Chamber of Commerce.
ShiverFest Draw: Tickets for a Nintendo Wii will be on sale for $1 at carnival activities.
Special ShiverFest Waffle: This will only be available during Shiverfest. Visit the Country Dreams and STM Treats.
The theme of ShiverFest is family, fun & the spirit of
participation! Come out and show your true Temagami enthusiasm!!!

TemagamiPublic School.
Kids’ Karaoke 5:00 -7:00 pm
Be entertained while you dine by the sweet sounds of young talent during Kids’ Karaoke. All children who participate will receive a ribbon and have their name put in for a draw.

As the grand finale to the obstacle course, this version of needle in a haystack is even more exciting with money, money, money!?
Scramble to find coins buried in a huge haystack.

All teens come out and test your pool skills. Participate in a weekend tournament.
