Format: This will be a 36-hole tournament over the course of two days.

Day one of the event will be a tee time start. Coaches check in on the patio to pick up team envelopes and fill out team info sheet.Each wave of teams will have a short meeting on the tee 15 minutes prior to their first scheduled tee time.

The second day of the event will be an 8:30 shotgun start at Wanaki GC in Menomonee Falls. Coaches meeting at 8:00, with a player meeting on the putting green at 8:15.

Awards: There will be a trophy for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team over 36 holes. All members of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will receive medals. Medals will also go to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd All BCH Classic teams. (top 15 individuals)

Entry Fee: The past few years we have had to track down schools to collect entry fees months after the event. This puts us in a tough spot to pay the courses when we get the bill. If your school has not paid, please have a check at the tournament made out to Homestead.

  • There is not at range at the course, so plan accordingly.
  • The restaurant at MeeKwonis offering a special lunch deal for all players and coaches. $5.50 for hot dog/burger/chicken strips, fries/chips and a fountain drink.
  • Coolers will be on the course with refreshments for the golfers and coaches.

2018 BCH Classic –MeeKwon Information Sheet

Scorecard:Players should exchange cards alphabetically and keep the score of that player. At the end of the round, confirm hole by hole scores with your group, sign, attest and give your card to your coach. Once the coach posts their athletes score, and they have left the concrete patio scoring area, it is considered official.

7/10 Stroke Rule: If a player has not reached the green after seven strokes they should inform their group, and pick up their ball. Place the ball within 6” of the nearest edge of the green and proceed with a 3 putt maximum. Circle the score on your card.

Pace of Play: Groups should play 9 holes in 2hrs 15min. (Avg 15 min per hole) Groups will be warned if they are not keeping pace with the group ahead. 2nd warning = 1 stroke penalty for the group. Play ready golf, limit practice swings, and be efficient between shots and holes.

Electronic Measuring Devices may be used. A player may obtain distance information from fellow competitors.

The Course: Play from the red tees. #9 tee box is in the fairway and will play at about 320 yards.

Red/white stakes = 100, white stakes = 150, blue plate = 200.

Cart Paths/Worn Edges: Worn edges along or extending off of cart paths are deemed part of the obstruction and eligible for relief under rule 24.

Out of Bounds: Pavement of all perimeter roads, parking lot left of #1, White stakes to the left on #13, #15 & #18.

Lateral Water Hazard: left side of #3

Refreshments: There will be a number of coolers on the course with different snacks and drinks that both players and coaches may help themselves to. the 19th Tee restaurant has put a lunch special together for us. Please thank them for their hospitality.
