‘East Kent 100’, A Celebration of the Centenary of the East Kent Rd. Car Co., with a display of some of the buses that have served the South East since 1916, Walmer Green, The Strand, 10am-4pm
‘Don’t Laugh at Me’, the first ever Norman Wisdom tribute show will be coming to The Astor Community Theatre on Saturday 3rd September 2016. It is the latest variety show from GMC Productions, ‘a 2 hour long joyfest of music and comedy that will have you rolling in your seats and dancing in the aisles.’ Doors open 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm, theatre seating, tickets £10

Look out for the opening times for this, as well as for our churches, Deal Masonic Lodge, local museums and Deal Town Hall, amongst others. Paws on the Prom, raising funds for Guide Dogs: Sponsored walk from Route One Cycle Café in Deal, to Walmer Castle and back again, followed by a gathering at the café to meet Guide Dogs and pups in training. Exclusive prize of a Blindfold walk with a Guide Dog in training for the person with the most sponsorship. (Prize walk to be conducted at Maidstone Guide Dog Training Centre, and is subject to availability).
