Absences - You are required to get all information you were absent for quickly. This can be done a variety of ways. Videos, intervention, web, other students, or a copy of the notes. Missing days does not excuse students from learning the material and taking assessments. If you do not make a quick attempt to get the information you missed, a problem has been created. Be responsible for your learning.

Unit Assessments – At the end of each unit there will be a review and a test the following day. If a student is absent during a test, the test must be made up during a study hall or after school. Students will be expected to take the test if absent for the review.

Pre-tests - Every unit you will be given a pre-test to see how well you are

doing before you take the real test. Use this as an example and get help if

needed.

Homework - Homework will be assigned some nights and must be completed before class each day. Students will be given time to start on homework during class most days. We will review homework at the beginning of each class so that students have time to ask questions. Homework may or may not be collected.

You can retake as many tests as you would like.

The retake must be completedbefore taking the next unit test.

If you do not do homework, you can NOT retake a test. But that won’t be a problem since you MUST do the assignments.

To retake a test, you must turn in ALL homework assignments and quizzes from that chapter.
