Course Assignment

Completion of this assessment is equal to 1 hour of continuing education and is required for successful completion of the Trainer and Technical Assistance Professional Competencies courses.

There are 2 components for this assignment. They have been designed to encompass the Cycle of Inquiry (OBSERVE, REFLECT, APPLY) taken from Marilyn Chu’s book, “Developing Coaching and Mentoring Relationships in Early Care & Education.”

Personal Reflection

Write a reflective statement about your role as a trainer or technical assistant. This statement should be 250-300 words in length. In your reflection include the following:

  • A reflection of the skills or expertise you bring to your role. (REFLECT)
  • A reflection about how effective you have been in your role as a trainer or technical assistant. (APPLY)
