TEAM AGREEMENT

Goals

The overall objective of our team is to successfully plan and execute the proposal presentation in a professional manner.

Roles

Roles are subject to change if responsibilities are not being met and/or a group decision consensus is made:

Team Leader – Ehren

Responsibilities: Ensure that everything is being properly planned from a big picture and that the group is cohesive. Be a dedicated role model for the team and act with integrity and honesty. Establish an environment where we are asking tough questions and keeping the focus on innovation rather than simple regurgitation. Finally, keeping the team morale high and making sure everyone is doing their role, as per the team agreement.

Meeting Facilitator – Cecilia

Responsibilities: Remind members of team meetings. Focus on running a productive and successful meeting by ensuring all members actively participate, guiding the group towards consensus, and keeping time of meeting duration.

Calendar Maintenance – Prell

Responsibilities: Prepare a calendar with clear deadlines accessible to all members on Facebook.

Project Promoter- Jessie

Responsibilities:Bring exotic and creative ideas to the team. Carefully examine the details of the project by going through the whole process. Add opinions to the project from the non-native thinking pattern and make sure the project will not be disturbed by the unexpected conditions.

Research Coordinator- Chris

Responsibilities: Gather documents and information outside of class to give the group stronger evidence to support our ideas. Continuously research relatable ideas to our topic that will allow the group to distinguish if we should consider these ideas or go forward without them. Make sure everyone who attends the meetings will come with some sort of research material that will positively enhance group discussion.

Meetings

  • Adopt a standard meeting time.

·Be on time to meetings and make sure to let the rest of the group know if you will be late/absent.

·If you are unable to physically make a meeting, have a presence through social media (i.e. actively communicate via e-mail, Facebook, or phone.)

  • Come to meetings ready to participate with your expected discussion material and what you were expected to contribute.
  • Maintain a calendar for meetings with clear deadlines.

Communication & Relationships

  • Be respectful, open-minded, and don’t dismiss other people’s ideas. Work with what is there and do not knock down ideas.
  • Utilize social media to minimize on-campus meetings.
  • Keep all project-related documents organized on Google Drive with clear, concise titles.
  • Decisions
    Silence does not constitute agreement.
  • Members absent at meetings will be contacted via social media when decisions are being made. If member cannot be reached a decision will be made by the members present.

* Team agreement is subject to change as the team works together.
