Team Advisor: United States History and Government

U.S. History and Government: This program is designed to introduce middle school students to the fascinating, thought-provoking and at times challenging subject of United States History and Government. While living in the nation’s capital, students will participate in simulations, go on tours, and listen to a diverse group of guest speakers. These activities will focus on both history and government, and will give the students a better understanding of the complex working of our government and how monumental events have shaped the country we live in today. Through this program, students will develop leadership skills with an emphasis on skills such as public speaking, time management, and conflict resolution.
