Job description
Job Title: Physical Activity Specialist
Annual Salary: £16,640 - £20,000 dependent on qualifications and experience
Contract Type: Permanent (Full time)
Reporting to: Education Manager
Responsible for: No direct reportees
Main purpose of the job;
● Teach high quality PE lessons alongside primary practitioners in schools as part of the Team Activ Curriculum Support Programme
● Lead and coordinate extra curricular clubs
● Assist and lead inter school competitions
● Generate new business
Main tasks and responsibilities
● Teach high quality physical education lesson in primary schools
● Advise primary schools on best practice
● Plan high quality PE lessons using existing and bespoke resources
● Lead and coordinate after school clubs
● Help to lead a programme of inter school competitions
● Generate new business
● Increase the revenue of Team Activ programmes in existing schools
● Develop knowledge of the market and competitors
● Increase the profile and reputation of the Team Activ brand
● Work as part of a delivery team to plan, deliver and evaluate events
● Maintain Customer Relationships Management system database and use as business growth strategy
● Maintain an accurate and up to date diary (personal and team) setting out future appointments and events activity
● Develop new opportunities and products
● Other tasks commensurate with the job

Excellent delivery of high quality PE lessons
Generate new business opportunities in schools
Client satisfaction for inter school events
Learning element
In-house training will be provided on the Team Activ programmes, systems and procedures.
Scope for impact
Impact on the quality of service provided to customers. Increase the network of schools Team Activ provide valuable services for.
Applicants must -
Hold a Level 2 National Governing Body Award or Degree in PE Teaching/Sports Coaching
Hold a full driving licence and access to a car
Successfully complete and pass a DBS check
