Main aim: to contribute to the development of the children’s cognitive and social skills, their emotional growth. To develop speaking skills ,to review the language from the Unit «Clothes»(dress, skirt, T-shirt, shirt, pullover, jeans, shoes, «I am wearing »),Unit «Let’s count»(ten,twenty,thirty,forty,fifty,sixty,seventy,eighty,ninety,one hundred, «My lucky number is…», «I’ve got ») .At the end of the lesson students will have had speaking practice. They will be able to count by tens, to respond and ask questions using the grammar they have learnt before. To let the children experience through all the senses that learning a foreign language is fun

Materials: Flashcards (clothes, numbers),a cash-desk,, a ball, stripes of paper with written numbers ,blocks of letters.

Anticipated problems
- SS who are in the 1st year of studies English are slower, misunderstand some things and still are not get used to the different kinds of forms of work and activities
- There are some Ss who constantly lose attention
- There are some students who use mother language / Solutions
- give extra help to such SS
-ask them more, engage
- use mime and gesture to engage them not to speak mother lang

T gives instructions :

  1. T asks : «What are you wearing today»
Ss in turns come to the board and describe what they are wearing today.

  2. Magic box
Teacher has prepared a magic box with letters.
T says : Close your eyes and pick up a block. Say: «What’s the letter» ,
« what’s the sound ,what’s the word
3.Team game «collect the alphabet».
T gives instructions: “Divide in 2 teams and collect the alphabet on the floor»
Revision of tens.
On the board: Fcs (tens)
T asks Ss: «What’s the number»
T and Ss count up to 100.
2.T asks «What’s your lucky number»
Every student has to come to the board.
S shows and says: My lucky number is…….
3.Revision of grammar «I’ve got»
T gives each student a picture with colored balloons. There are tens in numbers are on each balloon.
Ss come to the board in turns and say :
«I’ve got 40. It’s red» e.t.c.
4 .Matching numbers and written forms.
T holds stripes with written forms and reads together with students.
T gives instructions: Read and match the words and the numbers.

III. Speaking
Role-play / 10 min / 1.Role-play «Let’s go the shop»
On the board: FCs (clothes) and there are price labels on them.
T says: «Let’s go to the shop»
T gives some money to Ss ( there are printed pounds)
T invites one S to be a shop assistant.
All the other Ss are customers.
S1 asks «How much is a dress»
Shop assistant responds: «It’s 20 pounds»
S1: Give me a dress please. I’ve got 20 pounds» Here you are.
Shop assistants gives a dress.
