Your egg drop project is due in school on ______. By now you should have a vehicle that has been tested for success. You will be required to include a two-part written portion about the journey you have experienced while building your Egg Drop Vehicle.

Both written portions of the Egg Drop Summative can be displayed as creatively as you would like. Some examples/suggestions from previous years include:

Written Portion #1: Due ______

Task #1: Describe and explain all the materials you have used in creating your vehicle so far and give details as to why you chose each item. Your reasoning for selecting each material should have a direct relationship to the topics and vocabulary that have been discussed in class. Scientific vocabulary must be used throughout the written piece.

Task #2: Explanation of your successes/failures so far. What have you tried that has worked? What have you tried that hasn’t worked? Your reasoning for your vehicle’s successes and failures should have a direct relationship to the topics and vocabulary that have been discussed in class. Scientific vocabulary must be used throughout.

Task #3: What are your plans going forward? If you are making any modifications to your vehicle, what are they and why? If no modifications are necessary, describe in detail what your vehicle looks like and why you believe each material you have chosen will add to the success of your vehicle. Your explanation should have a direct relationship to the topics and vocabulary that have been discussed in class. Scientific vocabulary must be used throughout.
