Eligibility:

  1. American and internationalJunior or Senior college students and recently graduated college students are eligible to apply to this program. Applicants must have at least a 2.25 GPA average(on a 4.0 scale).

2.A valid and current passport is required of all students prior to departure.

3.Students must have a demonstrated ability to function effectively in a cross-cultural environment and to uphold a positive image of their home university or country of origin.

4. Complete a contract form which includes all rules, regulations and requirements.

What is provided?

WISE Abroad will make the following arrangements:

1.Cross-cultural orientation to customs, society, and government of the host country prior to participants' departure.

2.Arrange for living accommodations.

3. Guaranteed paid teaching placement prior to departure

4.Reception at airport upon arrival and transfer to teaching location.

5. Frequent contact with country manager while in the host country.

Application Procedures:

Your application will not be considered complete until all supporting documents are received.You are recommended to submit your application and documents no later than two to three months(before the teaching engagement.

  • Your official or unofficial academic transcripts.
  • A passport size photo.
  • A current resume: Please include brief details of any relevant previous work experiences, name of employers, and time spent in each job.Your resume will be sent to the placement supervisor.
  • The Recommendation Formfrom an advisor, faculty or employer.
  • The Signature Form
  • The $50 non-refundable application fee (paid by check payable to WISE Abroad). International students must pay by credit card or USD bank draft.)
  • If any, copies of TEFL or ESL certificates that supplement your teaching skills
