TD-Scan v19.10 Overview
Date16 – Oct – 2015.
- Indication Mark-up has been added to TD Super-View.
- Added new indication reporting features to TD Super-View. These reportsare Excel spreadsheets, and can be from a single scan (Weld Report) or multiple scans (Activity Report).
- Fixed issue there the screen refresh rate would drop to quite a low value when the Phased Array calibration wizard was run consecutively for seven times.
- The software treated the entered Probe Frequency in the <Calculate Pulse Width> dialog as an integer value, therefore entering 3.5 would be interpreted as 3. This value is now taken as a floating-point number.
- An option to move part of the TCG gain to the front-end amplifiers has been added in the TCG setup page. This helps to reduce noise when high levels of TCG gain are used. E.g. This is especially true for phased array swept angle channels where the per focal law TCG curves are used to level the amplitude response with increasing sound path, but also to level the response between different angles.
- The option to “Split” a TD Super-View scan into multiple files whilst scanning has been added. This allows scans to be split into more manageable file sizes.
- The TD Super-View options in the <Configuration> dialog have been moved from the <Misc> tab into the new <TD Super-View> tab. The configuration option for the new TD Super-View reports can be found within this page.
- The ability to load pre-defined panel layouts by pressing the <Ctrl> key with number keys 1 to 5 has been added. This is offline only.
- The channel copy feature did not copy per Focal Law probe delay and per Focal Law TCG correctly.
- The A-Scan display window now shows the update rate in its caption bar.
- Fixed issue where the TD Super-View B-Scan images did not update when the C-Scan’s cursor 2 (dual cursors) moved.
- When a B or S Scan image is maximised, its scan position is now displayed in the status bar. Note: The mouse pointer must be over UT data for this to happen.
- Fixed issue where the setting of the acquisition gain on/off would revert back to its previous state. Also the acquisition gain value would be set to the global value even though global acquisition gain was disabled.
- Entering the Phased Array calibration wizard and performing a TCG calibration check would set the channel’s bit-per-sample to 8-bit once the calibration check was complete.
- With cursors enabled on B-Scan images, the dy value in the status bar could display an incorrect value.
- Re-entering the Phased Array calibration wizard would cause the channel to inherit the same number of TCG setup points as channel 1.
- In the Strip Scan display control dialog the incorrect label text is displayed for the Up/Down Steam Zones for pages greater than 1. The Channel & Zone numbers are correct, just the label text is in error.
- Changed the default smoothing to <Off for TD Super-View Echo Dynamic displays.
- Added search options to TD Super-View Echo Dynamic displays. These are, Find Maximum, Find -6dB Extents, and Find -20dB Extents. Selection of these options is made via the Echo Dynamic pop-up menu.
- Added the ability to quickly change between “Map” and “Time & Amplitude” viewing modes for Strip-Scan Zoned strips. Please the mouse pointer inside the strip to be changed, and press the T key on the keyboard.
- Added more checks to the TD Super-View display properties to ensure incorrect values are captured and corrected before data acquisition starts.
