Character Project: Culminating Activity

Task: Stage 2- Life in the Post War, 1920s and 1930s (Comic Life Panel)

Students will demonstrate an understanding of what life was like during the Post War, 1920s and 1930s by creating a Comic Life Panel based on a specific event from that time period.

Criteria

The comic life panel must include the following:

  • your fictional character
  • a description of the topic / event
  • your character’s reaction / feelings regarding the issue
  • analysis of the issue
  • reference to key terms, people or dates that are relevant to your topic
  • relevant images
  • dialogue that contains slang from the 1920s and 1930s
  • a clear and logical storyline
