Camping Rules & Regulations

Check In Time – No earlier than 1 p.m. at the WelcomeCenter

Check Out Time – 11 a.m.

2011 Rate - $31.00 per night

Speed Limit – Please observe the 5 mph speed limit.

Parking – Our spaces provide sufficient area for parking one RV and one motorized vehicle only. Additional parking for visiting guests is provided in the overflow parking area of the campground. No parking on the road or on the grass.

Motorcycles – The use of motorcycles, motorbikes, motor scooters, and off road vehicles are prohibited.

Bicycles are not to be operated after dusk.

Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children.

Guns and Fireworks – The possession or use of firearms, fireworks, cap pistols, air guns, bows and arrows, slingshots or lethal missiles of any kind are prohibited.

Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted.

Pets – Pets must be under control of their owner and kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times, or otherwise restrained. All pets must have current inoculations for rabies as prescribed by the camper’s state of residence. Pets must not be left unattended and kept quiet. Pet owners are responsible for their pets using the designated waste area and cleaning up after their pets at the designated area.

Quiet Hours – are observed between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Audio equipment may be used only at your campsite and only at low sound levels.

Park Facilities close at dusk. No use of facilities after dusk without prior arrangements.

Vehicle Washing or Repairs – Washing of RVs or automobiles is prohibited. Vehicle repair and maintenance is also prohibited.

Fires –NO camp fires will be allowed. Use of grills for cooking is okay. Grills shall be attended at all times and must be extinguished before vacating the site.

Gray Water – No sewage or gray water shall be disposed of on premises of the campground except at sewage disposal site.

Trash – Campers must keep their sites clean and must dispose of refuse in the receptacles or dumpsters provided.

Picnic Tables – Picnic tables should not be moved from site to site by campers. Adjoining picnic shelter can be rented in advance by campground renters only, by calling 778-6310.

Horses – Horses are restricted to trails only and are not allowed in the campground.

Courtesy – Respect the right and privacy of other campers. Don’t walk or cut through other sites.

Visitors – All visitors must sign in and out, display visitor pass and obey all campground rules.

Prohibited at all times – Cutting or removal of trees (whether standing or fallen), flowers or shrubs, all digging, metal detecting, treasure hunting, etc. Adjusting, modifying or otherwise tampering with park equipment, utilities, facilities, and soliciting for any purpose. Signs or other postings on trees is prohibited.

Restroom – Please keep our restrooms and showers neat and clean. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult. Please report any damage or untidiness to a park host.

Freezing Weather – When there is a danger of freezing weather, all water hoses should be disconnected after filling containers and tanks. Hoses must be disconnected from the outside faucets to prevent damage to the Park’s water supply system.

Length of Stay – Fourteen (14) days per 30-day period is the maximum length of stay.

Campground Host – TanglewoodPark provides 24-hour host service andcan be reached at the campground host site. Park Security is available from 5 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday through Friday and provides 24-hour service Saturdays and Sundays. Security can be reached at 399-6030. In an emergency call 911.

Dumping Station – Can be used by visitors. Fee is $10. Must get a receipt from the WelcomeCenter before use. 04/17/2011 chb
