Justine Davenport
to
Tamsu Learning CenterHwy #9 and 50 area

May 24th – 27th

Justine Davenport is a full time agility instructor/trainer and the owner ofShape Up Dog Traininglocated in Edmonton, AB. She began her journey in agility at the age of 12 withher first dog Bounder 12 years ago.

Justine has since represented Canada at the FCI World Championships on 8 occasions with 4 different dogs. This year Justine will once again be teaming up with her 6 year old sheltie Preston representing Canada in the CzechRepublicin October. Along with competing on the world stage Justine has won multiple national and regional championships and enjoys staying up to date with the newest handling and training ideas.

Over the years Justine has trained with and learned from some of the most talented and competitive trainers in the sport, most recently her young border collie Summithas lead her to one of the worlds best trainers Silvia Trkman. As the sport continues to change and evolve so do the methods of handling and training. Courses are getting harder and dogs are getting faster, through the help of her dogs, her students and her instructors Justine has stepped up her training and sharpened her handling skills.

Although Justine's biggest joy is training and competing at the highest level, the steps along the way are what it’s all about. Building a strong team between you and your dog at any level consists of great dog training and handling and of course a whole lot of fun. Whether you enjoy backyard training or competing on the world stage, Justine will help to improve your handling cues and work to create stronger teamwork between you and your dog.
