SCHOLARSHIP

APPLICATION

The Tamarack Golf Tournament will provide a Scholarship to a student entering or presently enrolled in a full-time course of study at a Canadian post-secondary education institution. The scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has participated in the Tamarack Golf Tournament and who has demonstrated scholastic excellence.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

  1. A copy of your latest transcript of marks from the educational institution you are currently attending or, if you have just graduated from High School, a copy of your transcript of marks from that school.
  2. Outline of competitive golf experience.
  3. Letter from the applicant outlining goals and career objectives (must be typed, maximum 300 words)
  4. Two (2) letters of recommendation. Letters from teachers, principals, Golf Professionals, Club Junior Chairperson, or individuals in your community who know you are suitable.

Please ensure that those persons providing reference letters include their name, address, telephone number, affiliation with you and the length of time they have known you, together with any other reasons which they believe makes you a worthy recipient of a scholarship.

All applicants will be notified in writing of the decision of the Board of Directors of the Fund.

It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit all required information on or before July 31/13.

Tamarack Golf Tournament is hereby authorized to verify the information contained herein with those concerned and the educational institutions and other sources identified in this application and I agree to notify the Tamarack Golf Tournament of any changes to the information contained in this application. If I receive a scholarship, I agree to allow my name, study plans, golf and other accomplishments to appear publicly as deemed appropriate by the Fund.
