demonstrate sufficient command of keyboarding skills to type a minimum of two pages in a single sitting.
ELAGSE5SL4: Report on a topic or text or present an opinion, sequencing ideas logically and using appropriate facts and relevant, descriptive details to support main ideas or themes; speak clearly at an understandable pace.

Task: Choose one of the critical issues of the 2016 Presidential election listed on the chart below. Click on the hyperlink which will take you to a text set in Newsela. From that text set you will:
1)Read at least 3 articles on your Lexile level.
2)Complete the writing task for each article.
3)Complete the quiz for each of the 3 articles.
Then:
4) Prepare a presentation for an audience of your peers. Presentations include: infographics (Vennpage, Pictochart, etc), public service announcements (iMovie, Chatterpix, Tellagami, etc), or traditional presentations(Powerpoint, Google Slides, Prezi, etc).
5)Use the Presentation Rubric to evaluate yourself and your peers.
