DESCRIBE WHAT HAPPENED IN DETAIL INCLUDING TIMES AND LOCATIONS
The Air Canada Flight 143 heading to Edmonton from Montreal was forced to land near Gimli due to running out of fuel. The plane carried 61 passengers with two cabin crew were safe. Prior to the accident, the pilot and the co-pilot including the above witness noticed the alarm beeping showing the low pressure at first and later the total equipment were malfunctioned and therefore he assumed that there was something bad would happened. There was a serious discussion between them and later the pilot decided to have an emergency landing at the nearest area which was the Gimli Motorsports Park after consulting the flight transponders at the Winnepeg. He went to the seat after he was instructed and reconciled with his family members. Hecalmed his wife and the kid. While seated, he could see that the plane was nearly crashed to the ground as he could see it from the nearest window. He could sense that the pilot was battling the plane and when the plane stopped abruptly after crashing onto a divider. The crew then requested all passengers including him to evacuate the plane. All passengers went down the plane through a stiff slide. Everyone was safe but having bruises when sliding down. Investigation was done over the plane by the ABS investigator.

There was no death reported and everyone was safe and managed to get off the plane. Due to the stiff slide, most passengers got bruises on their hands and legs when sliding down.
COMMENTS FROM OTHER WITNESSES / OTHER COMMENTS/ POSSIBLE FACTORS
The passengers were controlled by the flight attendance and everyone did not dare to look at each other during the incidents. To overcome their nervousness, some passengers were making themselves occupied with things. / The plane was running out of fuel due to the miscalculation of fuel by the technician involved. Human and technical errors are the one to be blamed for this disaster.
