General description

The watches have a round face with the lid opening at 6 o’clock. When the lid is opened the hinge holds it firmly in position allowing you to read the time from the watch face. When the lid is closed you will hear an audible click, confirming it is closed correctly. The winder is situated at the 3 o'clock position.

Using the product
Reading the time
The most effective way to feel the time is to begin with your index finger at the centre of the watch face, where the hands join, and then feel out along the hand towards the tactile number mark. Do this for the hour (short hand) and then the minute (long hand).
Battery replacement
These watches are fitted with a Silver oxide SR920SW (SR66/371)battery. It is recommended you take the watch to a watch specialist or jeweller to have the battery replaced.
Please note: RNIB does not guarantee batteries or watch straps.
Hints and Tips
