If it becomes necessary to restrict entries, this will be on the basis of last received first out.

Tournament details: Players will be ranked based on current computer points and their known playing standard.

Players all take part in at least 5 matches resulting in everyone finishing with a rating.

The draw will take place onSunday 4 March 2018 at Corby Smash TTC.

Corby Smash Table Tennis Centre will be open from 18:00, play to commence 19:00

[anticipated finishing time approximately 23:00].

Refreshments available for purchase throughout the evening

from the lounge area.

Tournament Regulations& Conditions:

*This event is open to male and female players.

*Every entrant MUSThave a TTE playermembership, or be a member of another National Association in membership of the ITTF.

*TTE Tournament Regulations apply to this tournament.

* ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply except those relating to the matters covered by items marked (x) in this entry form.

*Completion and submission of this entry form signifies agreement by the entrant to the regulations and conditions of this competition.

*Entries - Entry forms must be submitted with full payment of fees.

*Each match will consist of best of 5 games, each game up to 11 points with a two point difference to decide the winner.

*All players will be expected to umpire throughout the evening.

*The main colour of clothing must be different from the colour of the (white) ball.

*Players will be expected to play when called, so do not leave the venue at any time without the organiser’s permission.

*ALL players will be expected to honour fully their playing and umpiring commitments/obligations.

* If you enter and subsequently are unable to play, you MUST notify the organiser as soon as you know that you cannot attend as a reserve player can be arranged. Someone not turning up on the day without notification can disrupt and spoil it for everybody.

*All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

*No competitor or Official shall engage in betting on players or matches.

*Doping shall not take place either before or during play.

*‘Knocking’ on vacant tables between matches will be at the discretion of the organiser(s)/referee(s).

Playing Conditions:

*Play will be on 8Butterfly Tables with Butterfly posts and nets.

*Each table will be in an individual court enclosed by surrounds.

*Each court will be 5 metres wide by 9 metres in length.

*Minimum height of playing area is 4.5 metres.

*Minimum height of lighting from floor is 4.5metres.

*Lighting is generalFlorescent 1500 Lux Average.

*Flooring is sprung timber.

*There are no practice facilities in a separate hall.

General Information:

*Score machines will be used for all matches.

*Balls used will be white plasticStag 3*.

*Doping control tests may take place.

*The playing structure ensures that everyone plays at least 5 games during the tournament. Everyone finishes with a tournament rating.

Total prize fund on the day is £300[Subject to minimum 32 entrants]

Winner £225, RU £75

There is no venue, admission, or parking charge for players or spectators.

Changing facilities:Changing room with showeris available, lockers are not available. The centre is not liable for any personal property left unattended.

Hot and cold refreshments are available for purchase from our Lounge/viewing area.
