STRATA CTX

1  TO MAKE AN OUTSIDE CALL

Press 9, then enter the phone number.

***For international calls please dial 9 for an outside line, then 011 followed by country code and number.

2  TO PLACE AN INTERNAL CALL

Enter the 3-digit extension number. You may leave the handset down to use the speaker option, or lift the handset for a private call. If you press the digit 2 after dialing an extension number, it will change from tone announce to voice announce.

3  TO RECEIVE AN OUTSIDE CALL

A Line Button, Pool Button, or Intercom Button (INT) flashes and/or rings. Lift the handset to answer the call. DID calls will ring to your INT button.

4  TO FORWARD THE PHONE

•  Press #6011

•  Enter 9 plus the forwarding phone number (eg, 9-1-248-555-5555)

•  Press # and hang up

•  To turn off call forward, press #6051

5  TO TRANSFER A CALL

While connected to a caller, touch CNF/TRN; the caller is automatically put on Hold. Dial the 3-digit extension. You may wait for them to answer the call, press 2 to voice announce the call, or hang up before they answer to do a blind transfer.

6  TO TRANSFER DIRECTLY TO VOICEMAIL

Press Transfer To VM button (if you do not have the button, use the code CNF/TRN #407). Enter the mailbox number plus # and hang up to release the call.

7  CONFERENCE CALLING

While connected to an outside party, press CNF/TRN and access another line. Call the next outside party. When they answer, press CNF/TRN again to rejoin the group. (YOU MAY HAVE A MAX OF 6 OUTSIDE LINES & A TOTAL OF 8 PARTIES ON A CONF CALL INCLUDING INSIDE EXTENSIONS.)

To add an inside extension, press CNF/TRN and enter the 3-digit extension, press CNF/TRN again to rejoin the group.

8  PLACING CALLS ON HOLD

Depress the HOLD button once. To retrieve the call, depress blinking Line, Pool, or INT button.

9  PARK/ORBIT

To park a call, press Park plus the extension you wish to park the call for. Release the call and press Page, or dial the page code, to announce the call.

To pick up a call that has been parked for you, press Park and dial the extension number where the call has been parked. If you do not have a park button, use CNF/TRN+#33 to park a call and INT+#32 to pick up a parked call.

10  CALL PICKUP

Press STATION PICKUP key (or dial INT # 5#5) and dial 4-digit extension. This will answer any call ringing that individual phone.

11  SPEED DIAL

•  To enter a personal speed dial number:

-  Dial #9876.

-  Press The Speed Dial button plus the 3-digit speed dial bin number (100-119).

-  Enter the phone number exactly as you would dial it manually. Include the 9 for an outside line, if you use 9 to call out.

-  Press Speed Dial again, to store the data.

-  YOU MUST LIFT THE HANDSET & REPLACE IT TO EXIT THE PROGRAMING MODE (non-restricted phones only).

•  To cancel/change a speed dial number, go over the top of it with another number.

•  To call a speed dial number, (personal or system), press Speed Dial and enter the 3digit bin number.

-  For system-wide speed dial, enter the 3digit code (200-999).

12  ONE TOUCH BUTTON

•  To program: Press #9876. Touch the One Touch Button and enter the digits and/or the special buttons to be stored. Press the One Touch Button again. Lift the handset to exit programming.

•  To use: Touch the One Touch Button. It will dial the digits that are stored. (See the Features code page in the user manual for special codes.)

13  MESSAGE LIGHT

This is the red light indication that there is a voicemail message. Press the blinking button, and the system will ask you to enter your security code. If the light does not send you to voicemail and you want to tum off the blinking light, press INT #409.

14  DO NOT DISTURB

Used to busy-out an extension. Touch once, DND becomes red. Touch again, light goes off and the phone will be ready for calls again.

15  PAGING

Press PAGE if you have a page key or INT #30 to page through idle phones.

16  VOLUME CONTROL

•  To change the Ring volume: While the phone is idle, hold down the Volume Up or Volume Down key.

•  To change the Speaker volume: While on Speaker phone, hold down the Volume Up or Volume Down key.

•  To change the Handset volume: While on the handset, hold down the Volume Up or Volume Down key.

17  REDIAL

Press the Redial key to dial the last number you dialed.

18  MIC

While on speaker phone, pressing the Mic key will mute out your phone. The person you are talking to cannot hear you, but you can hear them. Touch Mic again to tum it back on.

19  SPEAKER

To transfer a call from your handset to your speaker phone, touch the Spkr button then hang up the handset.

20  TO CHANGE YOUR RING TONE

•  Press #9876 to program

•  Press INT button or the Line appearance that you want to change

-  External pitches are 11-18

-  Do not use 12, as it turns the ringing off!

-  If you press hold, it changes between external pitch and internal pitch

-  Internal pitch should be 01

•  Enter the pitch you want

•  Touch the same INT or Line button again, and data will be programmed

•  Lift handset to exit programming mode

21  FIRST TIME SETUP (NEW INTEGRATION)

•  Inside the office, from your phone, access the INT button and dial ext. 850

•  Enter your Security Code (Initialized-Mailbox/Ext. No)

•  The voicemail will ask you to record your Name: Record your Name

•  The voicemail will ask you to record your Greeting: Record your Greeting

•  The voicemail will ask you to change your Security Code: Change your code to any 3digit number. Enter your new code again for verification.

22  ACCESSING VOICEMAIL

•  From inside the office:

-  When the MSG button is flashing, press the MSG button

-  The phone will ask for your security code

•  From a phone other than your own:

-  Dial 850

-  When it asks for a security code press #*

-  Enter your User ID (your Mailbox No.)

-  Enter your security code

•  From outside the office:

-  Dial 734-245-0140

-  When the greeting answers, press *

-  Enter your User ID (your Mailbox No.)

-  Enter your security code

The system will tell you how many messages you have.

23  MAIN MENU OPTIONS

•  "1" To listen to your messages

•  "2" To send a message

•  "3" To manage your mailbox

•  "0" To exit your mailbox and return to the main greeting

•  "#" Hang up (from voicemail)

•  "9" Escape key - takes you back 1 menu ("screen")

•  999 WILL ALWAYS RETURN YOU TO THE MAIN MENU

23.1  Enter "1" to Play Your Messages

From the MAIN MENU, Press 1

The System will play Messages in order of URGENT then NEW and SAVED Messages are stored in a separate folder.

•  Press 1 Play the Next Message

•  Press 2 Save the Current Message

•  Press 3 Delete the Current Message

•  Press 5 Forward the Current Message to one (or more) Mailboxes

•  Press 6 Reply or respond to the Current Message

•  Press 74 Message Date and Time

•  Press 75 Future Delivery Message Review

•  Press 76 Continuous Delete

•  Press 77 New/Saved Message Queue (Toggle)

•  Press 78 Continuous Play

•  Press 9 Return to Previous Menu

23.1.3  Message Controls

•  Press *1 Replays the current message

•  Press *2 Plays the previous message. (If you are at the first message in your mailbox and you press *2, you will go to the last message in your mailbox.)

•  Press 4 Pause/Resume (Toggle for 30 seconds)

•  Press * Back Up 5 seconds

•  Press # Move Forward 5 seconds

23.2  Enter "2" to Send a Message

•  You may now select a Destination (User ID, Distribution List or one of the following; you are not prompted for these options):

-  00 Use the Directory

-  01 Send to a Personal List

•  Record your message, comment, or reply, pressing # when finished. After recording, you may:

-  Press # Send message and return to MAIN MENU

-  Press 1 Review the Message

-  Press 2 Rerecord the message, followed by the # sign

-  Press 3 Append the message

-  Press 4 Select additional destinations

-  For Special Functions, Press

◦  7+1 Tum On/Off Urgent

◦  7+2 Tum On/Off Private

◦  7+3 Tum On/Off Return Receipt

◦  9 Return to Previous Menu

-  Press 8 Set Future Delivery

◦  1 Set the Hour (l-12) l AM 2 PM

◦  2 Set the Minutes (0-59)

◦  3 Set the Day (1-31)

◦  4 Set the Month (1-12)

◦  5 Set the Year (2 digits)

◦  9 Return to the Previous Menu

-  Press * Cancel the Message and select New Destination

-  Press ** Cancel the Message and return to MAIN MENU

23.3  Enter “3” to Manage Your Mailbox

From the MAIN MENU, enter 3

You may now:

•  Press 1 to Change your Greeting

•  Press 2 to Change your Options

•  Press 3 to Manage your Lists

23.3.1  Changing Your Greeting (Choice 1)

The system will say “select a greeting 1 through 7.”

•  Press # to choose Generic System Greeting,

•  Press *to hear which greeting is currently played, or

•  Press a number 1 through 7, then:

-  Press 1 to Review the Greeting

-  Press 2 to Record a New Greeting. Record after tone followed by # sign. After recording greeting you may:

◦  Press 1 to Review the Greeting

◦  Press 2 to Re-record, followed by the # sign

◦  Press 3 to Append the Greeting (add something to the end)

◦  Press 4 to Cancel the Greeting

◦  Press 9 to Save the Greeting

Enter 9 again (after saving your greeting) and you will return to the previous menu (“select a greeting 1 through 7”). If you wish to record more than 1 personal greeting, you may now select another greeting and repeat the above procedure.

The Greeting chosen or recorded last will be the current greeting being played.

23.3.2  Changing Your Personal Options (Choice 2)

•  Press 1 Tum On/Off your Do Not Disturb

•  Press 2 Tum On/Off Call Screening

•  Press 3 To change your Security Code

•  Press 5 Tum On/Off Busy Greeting

•  Press 6 Record your Name for the Directory (press # when finished)

•  Press 7 To change Message Notification - Template 3

•  Press 8 To Set Auto Copy Mailbox

•  Press * Review your Option Settings

•  Press 9 To Return to the Previous Menu

23.3.3  Managing Your Personal Lists (Choice 3)

You may Select a List 1 through 25.

•  Press 1 Review the Current List

•  Press 2 Add a Mailbox to the List

•  Press 3 Delete a Mailbox from the List

•  Press 4 Give the List a Name

•  Press * Return to Previous Menu

•  Press 9 Return to Previous Menu (after setting up a list)
