Manual for Field Survey Application-Infolive

Please install the field survey INFOLIVE Application in android Mobile/device.

It will ask One time registration (Please register with your name/mobile number).

Registration will approve by Admin to avoid misuse of Application.

Open the application (it will appear as in figure). Mobile data should be ON.

Please move to Crop field/Plantation/Any Vegetation where have to capture ground truth/crop information

  • Either in between the crop field (20 meter inside from bund) or
  • At three or four corner of the crop field

Fill the form/informationwhatever shown in application-

  • GPS Serial No.: <Not required>
  • District Name: Please select district from drop down box.
  • Mandal Name: Please select the Mandal name of selected district from drop down box.
  • Crop Name: Please select crop name of field from drop down box. If crop name is not mentioned, please select “Other” and a new blank space will open to fill new crop name.
  • Cropping pattern- Mono and Intercrop

Mono(Single Crop) is default.In case of intercrop field, please select “Intercrop(Multiple crops in single plot)” option, a new blank space will open to fill intercrop name

  • Crop growth stage: Please select the appropriate crop growth stage (as per crop appearance and knowledge base) from drop down box.
  • Date of Sowing: Please select the approx date of sowing of the crop from application calendar.
  • Sown Crop Area: Please fill the crop area in acre of selected field for collecting Ground Truth information. Please select the field having more than 0.5 acre crop area.
  • Approx. Date of Harvesting: Please select the approx harvesting date of the crop from application calendar.
  • Farmer Contact Details: Optional in application, Please fill “NA” in case of non-available Farmer’s name and contact details.
  • Any Other Information: Please fill other information like crop health (good, poor), any disease/pest infestation, irrigated/non-irrigated, Hybrid/Desi, surrounding crops of selected field, late/early/normal sown.
  • Take Photo: Please capture the crop photo and press “OK”option to save it or “Retry” for re-capture.
  • Save: Please press “Save” button to save the entry in database/server. Data will save when GPS Accuracy would be less than 30 otherwise pop up will open and wait till GPS Accuracy come down to 30 or less.
  • Pending Synced data: It will show zero (0) if data transfer to server and it depend on mobile data network. In case of not Zero at the end of day work, please press “Backup” button to take backup in mobile/device storage (folder name “InfoLive”). Send the backup file through mail/WhatApp to contact person(9265232759-Krishna)

Field Work

  • Fill the application in 3 different locations of each crop for Rabi season which was listed in crop name column in application, in their respective allotted areas depending upon their availability & growth stage of crops
  • Avoid 0.5 Sq.Km radius near to village/Built Up areas for collection of GT Points(Filling of Application).
