An additional charge of £200 (excluding vat) will apply when the electrical work is to be carried out by someone not suitably qualified, e.g. DIY enthusiast. There shall be no additional charge where the electrical work is carried out by a Part P approved electrician

·  Floor area is measured by the total floor area.

·  A 1st floor extension will be categorised as a single storey extension.

·  Should submitted structural calculations be produced by a non -qualified person, an additional charge may be requested to cover the cost of checking.
