Note:

The College of Management was established in 1987. Department of Business Administration, Department of Accounting, Department of Finance, and Department of International Business, originally belonging to the College of Law, are now placed under the College of Management.
The College of Public Health was established in 1993. Department (institute) of Public Health, originally belonging to the College of Medicine, is now placed under the College of Public Health.
The College of Electrical Engineering was established in 1997. Department (institute) of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering Master Program, originally belonging to the College of Engineering, now are placed under the College of Electrical Engineering.
Department of Plant Pathology and Pests, belonging to the College of Science, was reorganized into the Department (institute) of Pests and the Department (institute) of Plant Pathology in 1998.
In 1999, the College of Law was reorganized into the College of Social Sciences and the College of Law, the Department (institute) of Law was placed under the College of Law; all other departments (institutes) were placed under the College of Social Sciences.
In 2000, the College of Electrical Engineering changed its name to College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Department (institute) of Computer Science and Information Engineering, originally belonging to College of Engineering, is placed under the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
In 2002, the College of Agriculture changed name to the College of Bio-Resource and Agriculture.
In 2003, the College of Life Science is established. Department of Zoology and Department of Botany are integrated into Department of Life Science; the Institute of Zoology, Institute of Botany, Institute of Fishery Science and Institute of Biochemical Science are placed under the College of Life Science.
In 2010, Ph.D. programs in Taiwan Literature and Industrial Engineering are established. Department of Biochemical Science and Technology and Institute of Microbiology and Biochemistry are integrated into the Department of Biochemical Science and Technology. Graduate Institute of Epidemiology and Graduate Institute of Preventive Medicine are integrated into Graduate Institute of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine. Institute of Biomedical Management and Institute of Health Policy are integrated into Institute of Health Policy and Management. Ph.D. of Genome & Systems Biology Program and Ph.D. of Translational Medicine Program are also established. Therefore, we have 54 departments, 103 graduate schools at NTU in 2010(99 Master programs, 93 Ph.D. programs).
In 2011, graduate programs in Molecular and Comparative Pathobiology, Brain and Mind Sciences, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language and Plant Medicine are established. Programs in Horticulture rename to Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. Previous Horticultural Crops Division, Postharvest Horticulture and Processing Division, andLandscape Horticulture Division in Graduate Program of Horticultural Science now rename to Horticultural Crops Science Division, Postharvest, Processing & Utilization Division and Landscape Architecture & Recreation Division. Ph.D. Program of Pharmacyhas Pharmaceutical Technology Division and Molecular Pharmaceutics Division. Therefore, we have 54 departments, 107 graduate schools at NTU in 2011 (103 Master programs, 93 Ph.D. programs).
In 2012, graduate programs in Translation and Interpretation is established. Ph.D. programs in Clinical Genomics renametoMedical Genomics and Proteomics. Therefore, we have 54 departments, 108 graduate schools at NTU in 2012 (104 Master programs, 93 Ph.D. programs).
In 2013, Ph.D.programs inOral Biology and Master of Applied Mathematical Sciences are established and Department of Life Science and Master of Zoology are combined as Life Science ( Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. Program). Therefore, we have 54 departments, 109 graduate schools at NTU in 2013 (6 study programs for graduate students, 105Master programs, 94 Ph.D. programs).
