General Footnotes which apply to all users of the Standard:

#Analysis for the chemistry-specific analytes shall be performed for product evaluation. Analysis shall also include formulation-dependent analytes as identified during formulation review.

*If nitrogen-containing initiators are used in these chemical types, evaluation shall include analysis for the initiator and any initiator by-products.

+A BN Scan on GC/MS shall be performed on this chemical type when recycled materials are used in the manufacturing process.

@The potential impurities for these products may vary considerably, depending on the source. Analysis for formulation-dependent parameters may be necessary.

Certifier-Specific Footnotes (these footnotes apply, where so noted for the applicable product certifier):

^ (NSF) Annual testing for specific repackages, blends, or dilutions of certified products may be waived, provided that the repackaging or distribution site is compliant with the criteria in NSF 60 Certification Policy #25, which includes a requirement that at least one certified product is tested (per facility) on an annual basis.

GAS (NSF) Annual testing may be waived for repackagers of certified chlorine, carbon dioxide, anhydrous ammonia, and sulfur dioxide where the gas products are repackaged in a dedicated, closed-loop system.

NH3 (NSF) Annual testing on anhydrous ammonia products may be bracketed based on the testing of ammonium hydroxide (aqua ammonia), if the aqua ammonia solution is prepared with the same respective anhydrous ammonia product.

CaO (NSF) Annual testing for Calcium Oxide products may be bracketed by the testing of Calcium Hydroxide products, produced at the same location and from the same source of calcium oxide.

$ (UL): BNA scan not run if no waste fuels used in the manufacturing process.

(UL): Rads and Fluoride not run when CaO is sampled from the same location.

(UL) Rads and Fluoride not run if a blender of certified material.

Cl2 (UL and NSF) Chlorine products may be bracketed based on testing of sodium hypochlorite bleach, prepared from the same chlorine source, or annual analysis may alternate between the chlorine and sodium hypochlorite product.

NaOCl(UL) When all certified ingredients are used, testing for this chemical may be alternated every other year.
