Session 1

Pray: praise God and thank Him together, ask Him to provide for our needs, ask Him to heal the sick and save the lost.

Sing: Teach the believers a song of praise to God. For example “Hallelu”:

Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelu, Hallelujah, Praise ye the Lord (2xs)

Praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah; praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah, praise ye the Lord, Hallelujah, praise ye the Lord!

(2 Shukron li Rrubb, 3 magdan li Rrubb)

Read God’s Word:

1. John 5:17. Say: What Allah is doing in our city (or our country) is important!

2. Satan is not happy and will try to stop us from joining Allah.

I Peter 5:8-10; not only will Satan make war against us, but he will make war with the people we tell about Isa, Mark 4:15.

3. How can we be ready for this spiritual war?

Ephesians 6:10-20; James 4:7. We must know that Allah is truly Great! Romans

8:28.

“Keep the commands of Christ”

Say, “Now we will have a new teaching from the Word of God.”

  1. Say, “Now that we follow Isa, what does Allah want us to do?”
  2. Ask someone in the group to read (you may have to help them find the verse.) Romans 13:12-14.

Ask someone else to read Romans 12:1-2.

Now ask the believers what these verses say about our new lives?

2Say, “Is this all Allah wants us to do? Is there something else Allah wants us to do?” Ask someone to read Matthew 5:13-16. Ask the believers what this verse means.

3. Say, “How will other people know that our light comes from the Lord?”

Romans 10:14-15; Ask the believers this question: “How will other people know that our light comes from Isa who lives in our hearts?” Then say, “from our tongues to their ears”. Ask the question again and have them say the answer with you.

The 4 Voices (aswaat arba) “Isa’s command to share the gospel”

Ask the question, “Now that we follow Isa, what does Allah want us to do?”

Have someone read Matthew 28:18-20. Say, “This is the first voice, the voice from heaven – the voice of Isa telling us to share the gospel”.

Now that we follow Isa, what does Allah want us to do?

2nd Voice (assowt athaani min al nahr (the voice of Isa telling us that even the dead in hell want their families to hear the gospel): Have someone read Luke 16:19-31.

Now that we follow Isa, what does Allah want us to do?

3rd Voice (assowt athalath min dahkal “voice Isa in our hearts telling us to share the gospel): I Corinthians 9:16-17.

Now that we follow Isa, what does Allah want us to do?

4th Voice (assowt arrabay min ba’eed the voice of Isa telling us that there are people waiting to hear the gospel): Acts 16:6-10. There are people ready to hear the gospel. You are not alone.

Practice

  1. Help the believers memorize “from our tongues to their ears”.
  2. Review the 4 voices with the believers. Help them say the voices back to you.
  3. Together put on the armor of God piece by piece (Ephesians 6: 13-18). Stand up and demonstrate putting on the armor piece by piece: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, etc….teach the believers how to do this.
  4. Pray together for Isa to help us hear His voice, thank Him for His armor ask Him for courage and boldness.

Homework or Accountability:

  1. Tell the believers to pray this week for Isa to help them be ready to speak the truth “from our tongues to their ears”.
  2. Tell the believers to put on the Armor of God in prayer everyday.
  3. Tell the believers to read the passages about the 4 voices from the Bible. Be able to tell the stories from memory next time we meet.
  4. Tell the believers to read from the Injeel everyday as much as they want.
