OFFSET PRINTING INKS & REPRODUCTION CHEMICALS.
This office is interested to procure P. S. PLATES,CHEMICALS FOR P. S. PLATES, OFFSET PRINTING INKS & REPRODUCTION CHEMICALS as per specification given. You are therefore requested to quote your rates as per terms and conditions below. Rates must be quoted on the enclosed Proforma only. Quantity mentioned is approximate it may be reduced or increased subject to the requirements at the time of placing the Supply Order.
1.1 Quotation should be submitted under sealed cover only mentioning the Quotation Letter No. & date as well as the items quoted for.
1.2 All Quotation should be addressed to the Additional Surveyor General, Eastern Printing Group, Survey of India,14,Wood Street, Kolkata-700016 and NOT BY NAME OR NOT TO ANY OTHER ADDRESSEE.
1.3 Quotation should reach within the specific time and date to the addressee by 11.00 hrs. on or before 22-09-2011. The quotation will be opened on 22-09-2011 at 15.00 hrs. The envelope containing quotation must be inscribed with "QUOTATION FORP. S. PLATES/CHEMICALS FOR P. S. PLATES/OFFSET PRINTING INKS & REPRODUCTION CHEMICALS DUE ON 22-09-2011.
1.4 1% Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) on total quoted value should be deposited along with the tender in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of E & AO , Eastern Printing Group ,Survey of India, Kolkata, failing which tenders will not be accepted.
1.5 Earnest Money will be returned to the unsuccessful tendererson next working day and no interest will be paid for the same.
1.6 Successful bidder has to submit security deposit for 10% value of the supply order as BG in the form of Bank Draft on any Nationalized Bank in favour of E&AO, Eastern Printing Group, Payable at Kolkata.

1.7 Supply Order will be placed on the approved Firm only when all the terms & conditions stipulated have been fulfilled by the tenderer. Income and Sales Tax clearance Certificates will have to be shown before the Supply Order is executed / compiled with.
1.8 Payment will normally be made within 45 days from the date of acceptance of store by the Procurement Board.
1.9 No correction or over writing in the quotation will be accepted
1.10 Items are to be delivered free of cost at our Kolkata office up to godown.
2.Tenderer, if so desires, may be present on the date and time of opening quotations. They may enquire over telephone before their arrival at tender opening.
3. Tenderer should sign on each page of the Tender Documents.
4. Suppliers who are enlisted with the Directorate of Industries, N.S.I.C. or DG & SD must mention in their tender giving their latest references of supply order No. etc.
5. The tender acceptance form being enclosed as Annexure ‘A’ must be signed with date and return to this office as token and acceptance of the above tender.
6. The rate quoted in Annexure ‘B’should be valid up to 31-03-2012.
7. NO PRICE VARIATION WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE VALIDITY PERIOD IF MARKET PRICE REDUCE THEN THE QUOTED PRICE ALSO TO BE REDUCED
8. The Quotation must be very specific and shall not contain evasive terms and conditions. Rate quoted for the items, must be mentioned as under to be accepted by the Board.
i)Whether indigenous or non-indigenous
ii)Make
iii)Detail Specification of manufacturer
iv)Detail specifications of authorized agent
9. The rates quoted by the firm must be as per the specification only. No variation in the prescribed specification will be accepted. It should confirm to Para 11 of the Tender Document
10.Additional Surveyor General, Eastern Printing Group, Survey of Indiareserves the right to reject or accept any quotation without assigning any reasons thereof.
