Here will be two papers. Each paper will have three hours written examination 12 subjective questions in each paper will be asked and 10 questions from each paper should be answered. At least one question of each paper should be answered in English language. Successful candidates in written test will be called for an interview. reference
Paper: I
Subject: Economy, Money and Banking

2.Theories of international trade and investment, foreign trade and investment policies of Nepal.
3.Poverty, inequality, population growth and challenges in Nepal.
4.Money supply: Definition, factors affecting money supply, high power money and money multiplier.
5.Inflation: Concept, causes, measurement and consequences, tradeoff between inflation and unemployment.
6.Development planning and its importance, development planning in Nepal issue and challenges.
7.Monetary Policy, Fiscal Policy, Bank and Financial Institutions Act (2063), Industrial and Commercial Policy in Nepal, Company Act. 2063 and Other Banking Related Acts in Nepal.
8.Banking: History, role and functions of commercial banks and central bank.
9.Management of financial institution: Profitability and liquidity management, assets and liability management, lending principles and its management, determination of interest rates.
10.Bank marketing: Banking products an instrument, target groups/customer-line, marketing strategies and plans.
11.Current affairs: Social, economic, political, science, technology, environment, sports, stock markets, exchange rate, currency, activities of IMF, ADB and world bank, current monetary policy of NRB and current fiscal policy of Nepal.
