Welcome Address
I am extremely pleased to welcome everyone to the first ever Sydney Horse Expo!
This is a new venture for Centre 200 and I hope that you are as excited as we are about being able to bring a horse event and a little bit of the country into the heart of Sydney. This weekend we will be offering vibrant entertainment, some keen competition and opportunities to see and learn more about horses and horse sports.
We are pleased to introduce Horse Power Live that is produced by Ross Millar. In 2014, this show toured through part of Canada receiving rave reviews. This is their first trip to the East Coast and I know that they can count on a warm welcome from everyone in Cape Breton.
A fantastic addition to this show is Amber Marshall, star of the CBC series Heartland. I am enormously grateful to Amber for finding time in her busy filming schedule to travel out to Cape Breton to spend some time with us, to meet and entertain people and to help us kick off this first Horse Expo.
Along with the Horse Power show, you will have the opportunity to see many of our local riders displaying and competing on their horses. I invite you to watch them, to cheer them on and talk to them about their horses when you get the chance.
We have been fortunate to have support from several generous sponsors for this event. In particular, I would like to thank…….
Putting on an event takes a great deal of dedication and support from many people. I would like to take this opportunity to send a thank you to our exhibitors, corporate and government sponsors, private donors, volunteers and of course, our audience for supporting remarkable non-profit event.
Congratulations to all of our participants and competitors for their hard work and best wishes at the Sydney Expo. And, to our fans, enjoy our entertainment demonstrations, competitions and all the displays in addition to a great show.
Visit the Sydney Horse Expo on Facebook for updates to ensure you don’t miss anything. Enjoy!!
