Directions: From the North –Travel South on I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike to 595 West. Exit on to University Drive and travel south to 36th. Turn Left on to 36th ST and travel one block to 75th Avenue. You will see the Aquatics Center from the intersection of 36th and 75th.

From the South – Travel north on I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike to 595 West. Exit on to University Drive and travel south to 36th Street. Turn left onto 36th and travel one block to 75th Avenue. You will see the Aquatics Center from the intersection of 36th and 75th.

Parking: There are several gravel lots that surround the Aquatic Center

that are available for parking. Additional parking will be

All Entries must be received by 5:00p.m. Friday October 18th.

The meet will be seeded at 12:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 22th and no further changes will be accepted.

A psyche sheet of all received entries will be emailed by October 23rd to all participating schools. Coaches are to review their entries and send all mistakes by email to by 9:00a.m., Thursday, October 24th. Mistakes made by the meet host during the entry process will be corrected. Omissions made by the submitting school cannot be corrected.

Relay Entries Relay entries will be listed from left to right on card; all eligible

swimmers must be on this card. Cards will be in Packets with heat sheets.

Only one relay per team.

Limit 4 Entries Per Team Per Individual Event

Limit 1 Relay Entry Per Team

Individuals are allowed to swim a maximum of 4 Events for the meet no more than 2 being Individual events

Please enter athletes and relays in swimming events with seed times whenever possible. Paper Entries can be submitted on the SW 3 Form found at www.fhsaa.org. Diving Sheets are located at www.fhsaa.org

Divers may be entered with an X on the paper entry or just a

check in Hy-tek.

Hy tek Entries are strongly encouraged.

Entry Fee: The cost of running the meet will be determined after the meet and shared between all participating schools. A statement and bill will be sent to all participating schools if losses need to be recovered.

Diving: All diving sheets are due by 9:00 AM. If sheets are not

submitted by this time, the diver is disqualified from the event.

Schedule: Warm-up: 9:30-11:00 AM (All Divers)

Girls Only Warm-up: 10:30-11:00 AM

Girls start time: 11:00 AM

Boys Warm-up: Immediately following boys

Boys Start Time: Approximately 12:30 PM

NFHS rules apply for championship meets for diving format.

Prelims: 2 required dives & 3 optional dives in any order.

Semis: 2 required dives & 1 optional dive in any order.

Finals: 1 required dive & 2 optional dives in any order.

If the numbers are low then the event will be combined.

Each diver should submit a diving score sheet, signed by both the contestant and the coach,

on the lines provided for those signatures, which includes the following: number, written description,

position, degree of difficulty, with the number and degree of difficulty of the voluntary dive(s)

circled, and order in which the dives will be attempted for all levels of the competition,

preliminaries through finals. The dive number and position shall be the official description of

the dive, and take precedence.

In Championship meets, this score sheet shall be submitted to the meet official at the specified

time and place, with changes permitted until one (1) hour prior to the start of the diving competition.

Correction of errors noted by the diving referee shall be permitted until the start of the diving

competition. All five groups must be represented in the top eight (8) dives. The five required

dives shall come from each of the five groups, with their assigned DD and have a sum total

of 9.0 or less. No more than one optional dive from the same group is permitted in the top

eight (8) dives or through semifinals.

We are encouraging all athletes and coaches to register at DiveMeets.com at:

You only need to register for divemeets.com once and then you get a user ID number and password that you can use for all of your dive meets. Divers whom dive USAD or AAU and have DiveMeets accounts do not register again. Further, All contestants in the following high school meets from 2006 are already registered users of DiveMeets.com: BCAA Championships; Districts 10-1A, 11-1A, 12-2A, 9-3A, and 10-3A; and Regions 4-1A, 4-2A, and 4-3A, and State Meets 1A, 2A, and 3A.

When the meet goes up on DiveMeets.com for registration either the coach or the divers may enter using their respective passwords.

DIVERS: be sure to select their coach in the system when they register.
THEN, thecoach can log in and manage his/herdivers account.

PRINT the sheet out so that you can sign and the coach can sign in the proper areas.

IMPORTANT: Before a diver can select a coach in DiveMeets the coach MUST have registered. Otherwise the coaches name will not be available for the diver to select.
Every coach must make sure to register as a coach and a judge.

1. Coaches go to divemeets and register (they only do this once. Coaches whom have registered with Divemeets in the past do not register again.

2. Divers go to divemeets and register, selecting their coach from a drop down of all the coaches registered with DiveMeets. CRITICAL INFORMATION IS DIVER’S DATE OF BIRTH AND YEAR OF GRADUATION.

3. Either the diver or the coach can enter the diver in a meet on DiveMeets and fill out dive sheets online.

NOTE: Coaches or divers can log on at anytime and change the dive sheets prior to the meet in real time. When a diver enters a meet on Divemeets or when a sheet is changed it is instantly displayed on DiveMeets.com. then select the BCAA Meet to see how the results are added to our interactive data base when the meet is over.

-  DO NOT worry, you can FAX it to Sally Hansell (954-434-2081) through Friday; OR

-  Bring it to the meet with on Saturday before 8am and we will enter your sheet into the system for you.

*****Remember*** Changes may be made up to one hour before your event and we can make those changes for you in the system on-deck.

Points will be awarded as follows:

Individual Events—20, 17,16,15,14,13,12,11,9,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Relays are awarded double points.

Breaks:

There will be 15 minute break after the Men's 50 Free.

Awards:

The FHSAA provides Team Trophies for the 1st and Runner up place teams for Boys and Girls

Gate Admission:

·  $6.00 for timed finals

·  Heat sheets $3.00

Organizational Logistics:

·  Athletes/coaches will enter from the north end of pool

·  All teams must be in team attire and enter facility together with coach. Packets will be handed out at this gate.

·  Spectators will enter on the north end of pool as well.

Rules:

·  2013-2014 NFHS/FHSAA Rules will apply –

o  Whistle signal start and no recall

False start procedures will be in effect.
