SVCABreeder’s List Policy

The Breeder’s List is a service provided by the SVCA to promote those breeders who abide by the SVCA Breeder’s List policy and SVCA Breeder’s Guidelines and subscribe to this service. Persons on the SVCA Breeder’s List shall have been SVCA Members in Good Standing for 2 years prior to application to the SVCA Breeder’s List.

The SVCA Club mission supports the development and perfection of the pure bred Swedish Vallhund and, as such, prohibits the listing of mixed breed puppies utilizing the SVCA Breeder’s List website.

1. The Board will set rates for this service on an annual basis, at the General Meeting, or as needed. Fees may change upon approval of the Board. The service year for the Breeder’s List will be from January 1st of one year through December 31st of that year.

2. Upon noting an interest in the SVCA Breeder’s List Service, the Membership Chair shall send the SVCA Breeder’s List policy, the SVCA Breeder’s Guidelines and an SVCA Breeder’s List application via email or USPS.

3. Once a Breeder has completed the application, enclosed a check in the proper amount made out to SVCA, and mailed to the Membership Chair, the Website and Newsletter Editors shall be notified of the update by the Membership Chair. The member’s cancelled check will be seen as notification of acceptance.

4. Services to be provided upon acceptance to the SVCA Breeder’s List are:

A. Listing in each copy of the SVCA Newsletter

B. Breeder’s List Sheet to be included whenever information on the Swedish Vallhund is requested from the SVCA

1. The SVCA Website will contain the Club’s Breeder’s List.

2. Each Breeder who participates in the Breeder’s List will have a page (listing) within the SVCA Website. This page may contain up to five (5) pictures of the breeder’s stock along with a description of the kennel and stock and kennel logo and personal website-homepage address.

5. The Swedish Vallhund Club of America takes no responsibility for the truthfulness of articles or advertisements, nor do they necessarily agree with opinions expressed in articles or advertising.

6. The Website Editor reserves the right to edit as necessary as to arrangement/sizing of pictures. All efforts will be made to preserve the breeder’s description of their kennel.

7. Persons in violation of the SVCA Breeder’s List Policy or SVCA Breeder’s Guidelines may have their listing removed from the Breeder’s List website. Upon proof said violation has been corrected, at the discretion of the SVCA Board, your listing will be reinstated. No monies will be refunded if your listing has been removed from the SVCA Breeder’s List website. By your application, you agree to waive, indemnify and hold harmless SVCA officers, members and contractors from claims as a result of any action resulting in the removal of your listing from the SVCA Breeder’s List website.
