The team talked about the holiday events, what worked and what didn’t work. There was discussion about selecting one event for the spring to focus on and the team agreed to develop a Mother’s Day Guide listing all of the events. Mother’s Day is May 8. The team discussed creating a project plan for the event and that is attached to these minutes / agenda. A request was put in the city 2017 budget for an integrated marketing plan and virtual shopping mall. The team talked about a Taste of the Town event and the chamber is looking at this for a special event.
