Software Engineer in Satyam Computers Services Limited since 2ndAugust 2004. Worked as a team member of the teamDBS Engineering,this participated in the feature enhancements of the last four releases (from V2R4.0).

Replication /
  • Developed the Replication Performance Monitoring Toolas a console utility in C to monitor the performance of the RSG vprocs, which comes with the Teradata DBS package.
  • Wrote the Feature Test Specification document for V2R7.
  • Developed theFTS test scriptsfor V2R7.
  • Testing the Replication Feature againstthe new DBS and GG releases.
  • Automation, took a major role in getting the Replication testing automated by writing new Perl scripts and editing few Perl scripts accordingly.

In-list query conversion tool / In-List query’s (SQL statements which have a join condition) are converted into In-Lists with the help of constant condition (column=constant). Developed this tool in C and Lex.
Analysis of TDSP DR Test Cases / Based on the customer DRs/incidents, scenarios were identified which weren’t covered by the existing Test suites related to Stored Procedure feature.Teamed with the developer to add those Stored Procedures to include the uncovered scenarios.
DR Fixing / DR (Discrepancy Reports) fixing is done as Simulating the problem, Simplification of the problem, Analyzing the DR, Finding out the root cause, Implementing the fix, Perform unit testing and Perform regression testing.
