About the role
We arecurrently looking for aSurveyor or Senior Surveyor to specialise in development consultancy and agency within theProfessional Services department at Montagu Evans. The highly profitable and successful team and department has been growing rapidly and is involved with the delivery of a wide range of development advice to a range of public and private sector landowners and developers.

Reports to:Partner – Residential Development
Location: Bolton Street, London W1J 8BA
The role:
- To assist in winning new work through competitive tender processes
- To provide advice on local and national markets
- To undertake viability analysis
- To conduct development appraisals and Market Valuations (Red Book)
- To undertake site preparation for marketing purposes – to include all aspects of due diligence investigations and marketing requirement
- To support and assist on large procurement/regeneration projects
- To research and produce strategic property reports
- To provide project management skills
- To respond to enquiries in a timely manner
- To undertake land and asset disposals and acquisitions for both public and private sector clients
Person specification
- Viability and appraisal experience with Excel/Argus Developer
- Previous experience at an appropriate level within the sector
- An understanding of public sector requirements
- Experience in both public and private sector acquisitions and disposals
- An ability to negotiate effectively
- Excellent experience of communication and client interfacing skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- High service delivery skills.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated.
- Committed and organised.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.
