The 1stInternational Workshop onSurveying and Geospatial Information Systems(SGIS2011) will be held May 2011. The workshop is sponsoredby The International Association of Chinese Professionals in Global Positioning Systems (CPGPS), The International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Science (CPGIS), International Society for Mine Surveying (ISM), The Chinese Academy of Surveying & Mapping, The Geodesy Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Geodesy Photogrammetry Cartography (CSGPC), The Surveying & Mapping Education Committee of CSGPC, Liaoning Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, Liaoning Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography, and Liaoning Technical University. The workshop will be organized by Liaoning Technical University and The Chinese Academy of Surveying & Mapping. Details are as following.

Time: May 21-22, 2011, (The workshop will last two days, one day after the 2ndChina Satellite Navigation Conference, CSNC2011, )

Full papers in English should be submitted online to nd copy to efore 31 March, 2011 in the format of Annals of GIS ( or in the format of Journal of Global Positioning Systems( Selected papers will be published on Annals of GISor Journal of Global Positioning Systems.

Electrical proceedings will be made in DVD.

  1. Registration

All participants are welcome. Registration fee is RMB 1,000 or USD 150.

For CPGPS and CPGIS members, Registration fee is RMB 800 or USD 120.

Registration fee includes materials, meals, technical tour, and transportation during the workshop.Fee is collected in spot.
