Needle-less suture is designed and manufactured with newly skin, surface suturing patent, used to suture the wound without additional hurt. This product is composed of 2 high-viscidity, low-allergic medical adhesive tapes that can fix the skin beside the wound and an attached self-locker which consists of base bands, locking rings, thorn bandage, ratchet etc. adjusting the length of thorn bandage will make the suturing tension suitable to close the wound. It will eventually promote the wound healing up naturally .Thus additional hurt and relevant scar caused by traditionally needle-thread suturing technology can be avoided. The purpose of this clinical observation was the traditional suture needle contrasted, to observe the needless suture in the clinical effects.

1. Way

1.1 Test method

60 cases of surgical cases selected by the computer-generated random number randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Experimental group of 30 patients with non-needle stitched the wound is closed. Control group of 30 patients with needle suture wound closure.

1.2 General Information

Experimental group of 30 patients aged 21-60 years, mean age was 44.83 years; in which the male 15 cases, the females 15cases; diagnosis of acute cholecystitis were 27 cases, the diagnosis of acute appendicitis were 3 cases; needle-less suture removal time 6-8 days. The average removal time of 7.0 days. Control group of 30 patients aged 18-60 years, mean age was 39.5 years old; of which 12 were males, 18 females; diagnosis of acute cholecystitis in 28 cases, the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in 2 cases; stitches time 7-8 days, the average stitches time 7.4 days.

1.3 Observation of the contents

Test group and control group according to unified clinical observation table to complete preoperative general, patients in the basic situation of the wound and wound closure, postoperative wounds caused by needle stitches or the needless suture removed during wound healing, scar of the wound , adverse reactions.

3.  Discussion

Needle-less suture is belongs to the surface of a suture, can avoid the suture needle suture needle damage caused by the skin and sutured to achieve non-invasive skin wounds, avoid the needle wound on both sides of the formation of scar purposes. The results of clinical trials (Table 1) shows: the needle-less suture and the traditional needle suture to device compared to the wound scar fewer units, with significant differences. Shows the needle-less suture can reduce the formation of scar around the eye of a needle.

The results of clinical trials (Table 2) shows: the needle –less suture and the traditional needle suture to device compared to suture the wound unit less time, with a significant difference. Description needle stitched the wound closure devices can reduce the operating time.

The results of clinical trials (Table 3) shows: the needle-fewer sutures and the traditional needle suture to device compared two groups of wound healing rate was 100%, no significant difference. That needle-free wound closure devices can achieve a healing.
