Supplementary data on the study populations

List of the populations of Spiranthes spiralis on Lesvos together with their fruit set data measured after the end of their flowering and % fruit set per individual (mean ratio of the number of capsules divided by the number of flowers). N is the population size (number of individuals with aboveground display recovered during the fruiting period). Substrate, habitat type and altitude (m a.s.l.) are also given. Populations marked with an asterisk (*) are those studied for pollination success (seed set). The list does not include the Assomatos I population (1850 plants) that was destroyed during flowering peak, as well as dead plants that were systematically treated with herbicides.
