SunCoast AACN Board Meeting Minutes

February 6th, 2013 at 1730

Present: Sharon Popp, Lori Albinson, Judy Pritchard, Marlene Darker, Kelly McLeay, Kim VanderHeuvel, Rebekah Roberts.

I.  Financial report: $5,559.78 in the bank.

II.  Discussed the Certification Luncheon to be in the month of May 2013. It was decided all certified Suncoast Chapter members will be invited. The Park Shore Grill in St. Petersburg was discussed. We will get an estimate of the number to attend.

III.  Upcoming Meetings:

A.  April 2013-Lori

B.  June 2013-Kelly

C.  August 2013-Judy & Sharon

D.  October 2013-Barb

E.  December 2013-Del

IV.  Carol Murphy stepped down from the presidency and Sharon Popp agreed to take over her position for the term.

V.  NTI will be in Boston this year. It was decided by the board that the Suncoast chapter will send more nurses to the WOW seminar instead of paying for the Boston NTI registration.

VI.  Kim and Sharon will work together on the WOW CEU’s.

VII.  Kim V. paved the way for government employees to now be able to attend the dinner seminars.

VIII.  We raised $330 for the Paws for Patriots. Judy’s Valentines themed basket was a big hit.

IX.  The next beach cleanup will be March 2nd starting at 4pm. Dinner (and drinks) afterwards for anyone interested.
