On a proposal from Cllr Powell, seconded by Cllr Mrs van Gelderen, it was unanimouslyRESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held on 20th October 2015be approved and signed as the minutes.

16/02/26 Financial
- Members were given a financial report to date.
- On a proposal from Cllr Lowen, seconded by Cllr Mrs England, it was RESOLVED following a unanimous vote to share the cost for the purchase of WW1/WW2 Commemorative benches and litter bin with the Publications & Heritage and Highways & Utilities Committees.
16/02/27 Trees
- Tree Warden’s report – Cllr Powell reported that the trees on Rivehall Avenue have still not been pruned and asked the Clerk to make contact with North Hykeham Town Council to arrange a meeting regarding the tree survey.
- On a proposal from Cllr Lowen, seconded by Cllr Pikett, it was RESOLVED following a unanimous vote to purchase wire mesh tree guards for the Chestnut trees, these being the most economic option.
16/02/28 Footpaths
Cllr Mrs Watson reported that all the footpaths are very muddy which is to be expected at this time of year.
The footpath from Eastfield Lane to Mill Lane has a lot of dog fouling in evidence and this will be highlighted in her next article for the Welton News.

16/02/29 Village Maintenance and Footpath Strimming
- On a proposal from Cllr Lowen, seconded by Cllr Pikett, it was unanimously RESOLVED following a vote to accept the quoteof £1,960.00 for the 2016 Village Maintenance contract received from Philip Westman Landscapes Ltd.
- On a proposal from Cllr Mrs Watson, seconded by Cllr Powell, it was unanimously RESOLVED following a vote to accept the quoteof £445.68 for the 2016 Footpath Strimming contract received from Glendale Countryside Ltd.
16/02/30 Allotments
A correction was made to item 4 in the tenancy agreement regarding wrong word usage and on a proposal from Cllr Mrs Watson, seconded by Cllr Pikett it was unanimously RESOLVED following a vote not to increase the rent of £45.00 per plot this year.
16/02/31 Floral Displays
On a proposal from Cllr Mrs England, seconded by Cllr Mrs Watson, it was unanimously RESOLVED following a vote to accept the quoteof £510.50for the summerfloral displays received from Scothern Nurseries.
