A big thank you to the Jordan family. They won the registration raffle last week and they donated it back to the club. Thank you.
We are need of canteen helpers especially on the 31st of October as Vikki will not be there. If you can help out please contact me (Dave) at or on 0400 666 149.
The Parent Helper Roster is on our Website (left hand side menus in Red).
This will give you the dates and the color of which parent helpers are required.
Also we do have a need for a couple more helpers for setup in the morning. We start setting up from 6.45am. If we have everything setup in time it guarantees we get out early. Everyone in our club is a volunteer so please help if you can.
Registration Packs
For those that have paid for registration please remember to pick up your pack. In there you will find the new Jetstar Patch. They must be sewn on above the LAV logo on the RHS of T-shirt.
Subway Patch that must be worn every competition. This has the barcode on it to make it easier for recording and identifying an athlete.
Results
There are two options to seeing results. There is looking up your individual results on or the full results onTeamApp.There are a couple of pages in the handbook showing how to sign in. Of course you must be a fully paid member to see either of them.
Weekly Training
Training is every Wednesday night from 5.30 to 6.30pm. Please keep an eye on our website to see if it has been cancelled.
Next Competition
17th October Program 2. Jetstar Round (Come with something Orange eg hair, Face, Shoes etc) Gold coin donation for Royal Childrens Hospital. All athletes competing get a Jetstar cap.
Parent Helpers: Green (There is a coloured sticker on your Subway Patch)
There are three colors Red, Yellow and Green. This week’s color is Green so all parents that their child’s patch has a Green sticker on it you will need to help in the following (Setup, Help at field events, Pack up). We rotate the colors each week.

Personal Best Performance Rewards
We are continuing with PB awards. 3 PB’s get 1 voucher, 4 PB’s get 2 vouchers and 5 PB’s get 2 vouchers and a trophy.
Upcoming events
Region Multi event day –Hume Athletics Centre – 8th November – Registration’s to be in by date to be advised.
Region Relays – Coburg – 21st of November- Training for the Teams will be advised. We will be looking at making our teams as strong as we can so participation from all athletes wanting to compete in our teams will need to attend training.Age U9 to U15 only Cost $10
Coburg-Sunbury Challenge Sunday 6th December at Sunbury.
Dinner Dance
For all parents. We have a dinner dance at the end of the summer season on 12th of March 2016.$50 more details in Handbook.

Parent Helpers:
The club needs your help with the events to ensure that the program is completed in a timely manner, please grab a vest and come out and provide assistance and you will also get enjoyment from seeing the children compete. The Parent Roster is on the website.
Uniforms:
We have two options for purchasing uniforms. You can pay by credit card using our online shop or pay cash on the day. If you are going to use the online shop please purchase before coming to pick up as we don’t have a laptop spare for purchasing.
Things we have done over Winter
In the off season we have completed a lot of projects.
- We have run electricity to the finish line
- New batteries for our golf buggy (Speedy)
- Brand New 10 * 7m shed (replaced old 6 * 6 shed)
We have spent just over $20,000 in upgrades and we still have more to come!
