Energy Solutions Center, Inc. (ESC) is a non-profit organization of energy utilities and equipment manufacturers that promotes energy efficient natural gas solutions and systems for use by residential, commercial, and industrial energy users. The Center creates educational and marketing materials, case studies, training manuals, decision analysis software, and other tools and resources designed to enhance the success of those utility customer service professionals responsible for enhancing customer productivity, efficiency, reliability and comfort.

Co-Energy America is a leading developer of packaged combined heat and power systems, specializing in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of 60kW to 1MW units. Since 1998, we have designed and installed over 60 cogeneration units at schools, hotels, apartment buildings, assisted living facilities and other commercial properties totaling nearly 10MW of continuous power throughout New England.

Called SmartWatt, it gives building owners and homeowners the ability to lower both their heating and electricity cost with something every home and building needs anyway – heating equipment.

12:50 – Maine businesses, nonprofits, institutions and governments are eligiblefor funding for distributed generation projectsthrough Efficiency Maine’s Commercial andIndustrial (C&I) Custom Program. Distributed generation projects are behind-the-meter generation projects that reduce the consumption of grid-supplied electricity and meet Efficiency Maine’s cost-benefit analysis.

Combined heat &power (CHP) projects are the most common type of distributed generation project completed through the C&I Custom Program.
