Summer Vacation--A Trip to Japan

Last summer, I went to Japan with my mom. It was my first time to go abroad. I was so excited that I couldn’t help but keep awake all night long.

The first destination I went was Cheng-TianMt.Temple. It is said that there is a great pot filling lots of burning incense for visitors to smell with a view to becoming intelligent. My mom and I were so superstitious that we walked close to the pot and smelled the incense. In the evening, we stayed at a gorgeous hotel having a swimming pool, gym, and little garden. My mom and I had a wonderful night then.

The second day, we went to Tokyo Bayoasis. It is a bay including a mall. As we walked up to the highest flour in the mall, we can saw a scenic view such as a painting. After that, we went to PaletteTown, a mall which is famous for its unique ceiling looking like sky but it is a real wall actually. As follows, we went to Oshino Hakkai as known as Eight Springs of Mt.Fuji. There were a number of traditional houses that I could take pictures with. At night, I wore Japanese suit and enjoyed Japanese Hot-spring in a splendid hotel. In the morning, I could see FujiMt. throughout the window. Additionally, we had giant crab for our breakfast. It was so delicious that my mom and I couldn’t help but eat it.

On the third day, we went to Hakone to take the second long cable car in the world to Owakudani which mountain is as high as 1044 meters. The tour guide said that we can boil eggs with the water there, and the eggs will become black when it is ripe. At noon, we took Hakone Sightseeing Cruise to Tokyo. I think next station was the most exciting destination, a temple built to commemorate Japan’s greatest general. Furthermore, it is the only temple built to the memory of Japanese’ greatest general.

The penultimate day on this trip, we had a fantastic time in DisneySea! I was so appreciate that my mom played almost every facility with me. My favorite facility was Scaring Elevator. At first, the guide led us visit the “ghost house” (which was only funny actually) with an eye to soothing our fear. After that, the guide had us sit on the chairs which looks like that he was going to have a speech. Suddenly, the room went dark and all the chairs were shaking violently. The chairs went ups and downs and the guide would tell us which flour was it instantly. My mom was so scaring that she missed a magnificent view, DisneySea’s full view. I was so thankful that I had a chance to see such an excellent scene in my lifetime.

The last day, we went shopping in Takeshita Street, where teenagers like to hang around. There are lots of latest and the most fashionable clothes, foods, and toys.

At last, I felt that this trip to Japan really do broaden my horizon. It not only developed my international perspective but enlarged my mind. Moreover, I also realized that “Taiwan” is not the “whole world”!
