●Use your Science Journal every time you work on your experiment to record “everything”!
●Take pictures and make sketches as you conduct your experiment
●Begin sketching preliminary designs for your display board
●Assess your results
●Summarize your results into charts, graphs and other visual aids for the display board
●Handwrite or Type up each section required for the display board (see layout example)
●Proofread!
January 8-19 (2 weeks!!!)
●Attend “Board Design & Presentation” Help session (Jan 9 - 3 to 4pm - Doss Library)
●Assemble the final display board
●Verify your Science Journal is complete with Table of Contents and page numbers
●Practice giving your project presentation and answering questions from your parents, neighbors, siblings, etc.
●Attend final parent/teacher mentoring session (Jan 17 - 3 to 4 pm - Rm 301)
January 23
●Bring your display board and science journal to your teacher and celebrate your hard work!!
●Remind your parents to be volunteer judges for the fair!!
