Salary Range / Basic £20,800 + Bonus (OTE £35,000 - £40,000)
+ vehicle for business purposes

Job Purpose / To recruit, manage and motivate a team of face-to-face Field Fundraisers operating within RSPB Fundraising Direct to deliver high quality, high volume new membership based supporters for the RSPB.

Essential qualifications
  • Educated to ‘A’ level standard or above.
  • Other leadership/management training, development or qualifications are advantageous

Essential knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of face-to-face fundraising or face-to-face sales
  • Excellent understanding of performance management best practice
  • Strong understanding of training and learning programmes, and long term individual
development
  • Change management best practice
  • Comprehensive use of Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • RSPB’s work culture values and brand values
  • Main elements of the regulations relevant to sales management and charity fundraising, specifically IOF and PFRA guidelines
  • Basic understanding of issues facing the environment and nature conservation
  • Good understanding of RSPB key campaigns, projects and initiatives.

  • Working as part of a small and focused Area Manager Team, you will be expected to help and cover colleague’s work areas as needed when necessary.
