Hartlepool Art Gallery, Christ Church, Church Square, Hartlepool, 7.00pm to 9.00pm (doors open 6.40pm)
Geoff will be demonstrating a portrait in acrylics. Geoff shows work regularly, mainly in the North of England, in open art evens and galleries. A large part of his work is done on commission, particularly portraits which are constructed from a mixture of life study and photographs. A member of the East Riding Artists and Street Art Hull, he lives in Willerby, East Yorkshire.
Guests are welcome at a cost of £5.
Next Workshop : Wednesday 16th September 2015 – Roy Carless Pastel Workshop
Venue : English Martyrs Art Gallery, start 9.30am to 4.00pm.Half hour lunch, please bring packed lunch.
Cost is £15 for members and £20 for guests.
You can either bring your own materials, though there will be new pastel sets available to loan or buy at advantageous prices on the day. You might like to bring your own paper, though sugar paper will be available. Roy will provide subject matter.

Art Club Painting Group
Every 2nd Saturday monthly, our well established "Salvation Army"painting group,
Runs from 10am to 2pm in Salvation Army Hall, Park Road, Hartlepool.Next session Saturday 12th Sept 2015.
Bring a packed lunch if you want to. Tea/coffee/biscuits are on sale. Price £3 per session to cover hire of room.
Change-over dates for the followingongoing exhibitions -
Mon 7th Sept- Hartlepool Bowls Clubchangeover– 10.30am. Paintings need cord for hanging.
Two paintings per member.
Wed 7th Oct- Golden Lion changeover – 10.30am. Paintings need cord for hanging. One painting per member.
Staithes Art and Music Festival 13th September 2015
Bus will depart from Golden Lion car park at 9.00am. The bus will be dropping off at bottom of the village. You will be able to see temporary art and craft galleries set up in cottages, houses and public places throughout the village. We will depart at 5.00pm.
