NA – Not Applicable

Perc - perchloroethylene

1 Per 63.322(o)(3) the emission of perc during the transfer of articles between the washer and the dryer(s) or reclaimer(s) must be eliminated which effectively prohibits the use of transfer systems. If you currently operate a transfer system, please contact the KDHE Bureau of Air and Radiation, Air Compliance Enforcement Section at (785)-296-1544.

2 Requirements/exemptions for small area sources are applicable to machines installed before 12/9/91 if the total annual perc consumption for your facility is less than 140 gallons.
