Submissions are Public Documents

Generally the Sentencing Advisory Council treats submissions as public documents. This means that the Council may refer to or quote directly from a submission and name the source of the submission in relevant publications. Public submissions will also be published on the Council’s website.

However, you can instead choose for your submission to be treated anonymously or confidentially. Please tickONE of the options below to let us know how you want the Sentencing Advisory Council to deal with your submission, then sign and date the form and return it to us by post, fax or email.

The Council reserves the right not to publish or use submissions that it considers may be defamatory or offensive.
