Essential understanding: In this unit, you will develop the understanding of how abstract nouns and adjectives are used to express ideas and shape cultural perspectives, traditions and holidays.

“Often it’s not we who shape words, but the words we use that shape us.”
―Nina George,The Little Paris Bookshop

Overview:

Now that you understand basic greetings and are gaining knowledge of nouns and how varied and rich Spanish speaking culture is, you will have an opportunity to explore the use of adjectives and add that part of speech to the simple sentences you have been forming to communicate in Spanish.
