Chapter 1...The Disaster Strikes
“Time for your first day at school Sofia!!” I heard my mother shout as I was getting ready. “Ok!!” I screamed back from behind my locked door. As I was getting my shoes on I saw my old diary. I picked it up and shoved it in my bag thinking it would be lucky…”Hurry up or you will be late!!” My mother shouted. “OK!!!” I screamed. I ran down the stairs to see my mother holding my bag. She smiled, I smiled back feeling nervous about what’s to come...It’s my first day at school and who knows what will happen? I ran outside and into my mom’s car. 5 Minutes later we arrived. It was just a plain normal school. Nothing fancy.
I grabbed my bag and went into the courtyard. There were multiple groups. I spotted the popular one first they aren't hard to miss. All beautiful wearing cute clothes and white handbags, I took off my thick rimmed glasses and cleaned them. Feeling sick I put them back on.I heard the bell ring then I ran to my class I had my schedule ready looking for my class I ran up the stairs and round corners I found my class and I chose a seat near the back.”Ok students we have a new student here with us today…”I heard the teacher said.”Her name is Sofia I want you all to be very nice to her so let’s get on with the lesson.”The teacher said kindly.I got the sheet of paper it had TONS of questions on it.I was quite smart myself so I carried on writing out the equations and multiplication sums.”So your the new girl?”I heard a whisper behind me.”Yeah my name's Sofia...Why do you ask???”I whispered back to him.I heard the bell ring it was time for lunch.When I was walking the boy responded to me.”Just wondering I like newbies...I’m Luke most people that go here are nice but watch out for those girls back there their mean ones they are…”
Chapter 2
Look before you turn…
As I turned the corner I was too busy reading so I banged into someone I also dropped my bag in surprise. “Watch it!” A the girl snarled “Omg i’m so so soo sorry!!!” I stuttered. “Oooh what’s this?” The girl said picking up my diary that fell out my bag when I dropped it. “Hey give it pack!” I cried. “No i’ll keep onto this! By the way im Brittany, Brittany Raven.” “Ok?... Im Sofia Johnson” I mumbled. As Brittany walked away I began picking up my things. A couple minutes past and I heard the noise the speaker makes when it’s about to be used. “Hello people of Riverbank High!” I heard Brittany's voice say. “I want to read you all something to welcome Sofia… A bit of her diary won’t hurt anyone!...Dear diary, I met this boy in class today his name is Luke...He's like the most popular boy in our year!! I can’t believe he was talking to ME!!! Hes sooo cute!! (A few people sniggered and looked over to Sofia, who was bright red and on the edge of tears) “So you think he’s cute do you?” Brittany said her voice booming because of the speakers “He will never like you!!! You're just a nerd! Thick glasses,Ugly clothes! You are not set out for this school, just leave and never come back!!!”At this point I was crying my eyes out, I ran out the classroom still crying where I bumped into someone…”Wow wow wow calm down Sofia!!!” I Heard a voice day...It was Luke.”I heard about what those girls did I am really sorry about that it’s what they do they've probably done it to EVERYONE in the school don’t sweat it...I’ll see you around then. And that was sweet what you said about me”Luke said running out of school.I didn’t say anything back to him. I only stood there looking like an idiot...
Chapter 3 Locket…
When I got back home mom asked me how my day was at school.”How was your day at school love?”Asked mom.”It was erm...ok I guess.”I lied.”
I went upstairs and did my homework and a few hours after I finished “Dinners ready!”I heard my mother shout.I ran down the stairs and into a seat at the table it was just me and my mom my dad sadly passed away when I 7 and I have no siblings so it’s just me and my mum.After I had my salad I walked up the stairs into my room and wrote a few pages into my diary not like I would be using it in a while.I wrote the words…”Dear diary,today it was my first day of school and I blew it I hated it I was a nervous wreck!”I carried on a few more pages then I stopped my mother knocked on my door.”Come in mum!”I shouted.She wanted to give me something…”Here have this locket my mother gave to me when I was a child just about your age I think keep it on it will bring you luck!”She said while placing it in my hand.”Night night…”She whispered leaving the room.I placed down the locket onto my bedside cabinet then I went to sleep.I had a dream about weird things happening to me when I wore the locket but eventually I woke up and yawned.Brushed my teeth, did my business, gotten dressed,I put on the locket and then walked down stairs into the kitchen for breakfast I looked at the time it was 8:20!I only had another 20 minutes to go to school so I rushed to eat my bran flakes and grabbed my bag homework and shoved my coat on my back and left the house.
Chapter 4 Not a lucky charm...
As I walked into school some people pointed and me and started talking it sounded like “Omg what’s the loser still doing here after what happened and what’s that ugly this around her neck!” I started to feel a bit awkward so I walked away...I saw Luke with all the boys and blushed a bit, He looked at me then smiled, I smiled back blushing harder than ever… As I walked I bumped into someone and my glasses fell off. We both went to pick them up and are hands brushed against each others. The person gave me my glasses and I put them on. I saw it was a boy he was really cute… He had brown hair blue eyes and glasses that cover them he didn’t have any friends though you could tell he was pretty nerdy just like me. I smiled “Thanks” I said “No problem but just watch out OK?” He laughed, “I’m Sofia Johnson” “Cool nice name...I’m Dan Jackson” He outstretched his hand and I shook it. “Over Luke already are you Sofia?” I heard a voice say...I suddenly began to shake it was Brittany. “Well?” She said. “GET LOST!” I screamed. I never realised how bad of a move this would be...Just then she punched me on the nose making it bleed. I didn’t care though I instantly kicked her in the stomach. “SOFIA JOHNSON! MY OFFICE NOW!” I heard the principle say. I cursed under my breath but then I smirked seeing my kick had knocked down Brittany. Then followed the principle. “EXPLAIN” the principle shouted “Well...I was walking then I bumped into Dan and Brittany came over and started winding me up so I said shut up and she punched me! Then I kicked her back…” I said clearly. “Detention” The principal said sharply...I didn’t bother to argue back I knew if i did it would just end out with me in tears. l walked out the office to see Dan at the door he seemed to be waiting for me with a black eye. “What happened!!” I cried “I may or may not have attacked Brittany when you went away” He smiled “Omg are you ok?” I “Yeah i’m fine what about you!!! You took a pretty nasty punch there!” He Exclaimed “Fine” I croaked. They stared into each other's eyes for a moment then the bell rang ruining the moment...I wish it could have rang a minute later…”Well got to go to class” We said in usion. We both laughed then went their ways… 4 Hours later the bell rang for home time. Today I ran home. Forgetting about my detention…
Chapter 5 What went wrong?...
When I got home I didn’t see my mother standing outside like she usually did she must be out shopping. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned round alarmed. Just to see Daniel. “Wanna come round my place till she comes back?” I hesitated for moment before saying...“Yes that would be amazing” leaning my head on his shoulder. “A couple minutes later we arrived. He had an average house nothing too fancy. A tear formed in my eye...It was my old house that I used to live in when my dad was alive! “A-Are you ok do you want anything? Do you not like it?!” He stuttered “No it's not that...This is the house me my mum and my dad used to live in when he was still...Alive…” I whispered “Really?” Daniel said…We walked inside and it was just how I remembered it. He took me up to his bedroom… “Hey this is my old bedroom!” I told him. “Really? Thisis my bedroom!” He laughed “It's just how I remember it! To the scratch on the wall to how the floorboard squeak when you walk on them!” I laughed. “It's gonna be really fun with you around…” He said. We both burst out laughing, Even though i've only known Daniel a day it feels like I have known him my whole life!
Chapter 6
No one hears your screams at night…
A couple hours later I got a call from my mother saying she was home I was pretty bummed I had to leave! “Hey Sofia?” Daniel Said. “Yeah…?” I replied cautiously, “D-do mind, umm giving me your number?” I smiled “Sure! Its 0798694200!” I said clearly. “Ok thanks! Here’s my number” He wrote down his number on a piece of paper so I could copy it later onto my phone. “Thanks.” I murmured. As I went home.

When I got home I went straight to my phone and copied the number onto my phone. He has already texted me!
It said “Hey.xxx-Dan” Iblushed as I read the text. I’m the person who normally gets there diary read out in front of the whole school and can't make a single friend! Now a SUPER CUTE BOY TALKING TO ME!!! I need to go to Emily’s RIGHT NOW!!!! I Grab my phone and reply with “Hey, Today was so fun!xxx-Sofia” After that I grab my bag and rush out the door “BYE MUM I’M GOING TO EMILY’S!!!!!” I scream loud enough so she can hear me. When I finally get to Emily’s I tell her all about Dan and Brittany.I decided to cheer myself up and have a sleepover at Emily's house so I texted my mother and she let me,after dinner we decided to play would you rather.She asked me this,would you rather have a creepy doll for Christmas or your birthday...So I said birthday not letting some creepy doll ruin the best night of the year so couple more rounds then we went to bed.I had a weird dream,to weird to explain so I woke up in the middle of the night. I Heard someone screaming, I tried to move to turn on the light but my body wouldn't go I couldn't move then I tried to tell Emily to wake up...I couldn't say a word...My mouth wouldn't open nothing would happen then I heard the door creak open, I tall dark figure walked in definitely a male figure. He came right to me, Just then I could move again I screamed as loud as possible then he disappeared…
“SOFIA!!!” Emily screamed “ARE YOU OK?!!” She said clearly worried “Fine” I lied “Just a bad dream, that’s all” With every muscle in my body I faked a smile
So we got changed ,then we went downstairs and Mrs.Smith (Emily's mother) gave us breakfast.So as we got to school we heard voices really strange ones but we just ran to school from that point.
Chapter 7
The Awakening Of Death…
As we walked into school we went to our classes and promised we would meet at lunch. When I was going through the 1st floor corridor the door for a closed of entrance... The sign was flashing off and on off then stayed on. It was the weirdest thing about the school at least for now...So it was lunch and just like promised me and Emily met up and talked like usual I'm sure she is the best friend I've been longing to see.”How was class?”Emily asked.”Fine…”I lied.I had enough problems to deal with and I didn't want Emily breaking my trust one of them. Just then the lights went out… On and off they went...Just like the sign…”Help...Me…” I heard someone whisper in my ear the lights turned back on then on the wall was blood… Saying help me.I Turned round and saw Brittany and Luke laughing there heads off “Luke HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME SOME FRIEND YOU ARE!!!” I scream tears start rolling down my cheeks like a waterfall. Then before anyone said a word I ran home crying my eyes out.
An hour later (i’m over crying at this point my eyes are bloodshot and my cheeks are red) I hear the door My mum is out shopping again, So I walk down the stairs and open the door to see Dan. “Hey, you Ok?” He Said “Kind of” I reply. “Emily told me what happened” He murmured. “Can we just forget this ever happened” I say now looking down at the floor. He takes my hands making me look up “Of course”
Just then he kissed me it was a very passionate kiss somehow I knew what to do! But I didn’t feel like we were ready to go onto the next step cause I didn’t even know if we were actually a thing yet so I just said.”I don't think we’re ready for this we’ll talk later…” So I went back home…
Chapter 8
Blood at first sight…
“The next morning was Saturday.I don’t do much on Saturday’s. So I just went on my phone. But I seen a text from Dan...It said. “Hey...about last night i’m sorry if you didn’t know if you were ready for that kiss...reply when you get this.” I didn’t know what to say to him... So I went just said “It’s fine…”At that point I just put my phone down. I just went downstairs to get my breakfast...I paused...I seen blood all over the kitchen on the table on the floor and all the cutlery in the drawers. I winked I pinched myself...But it was still there I put my back against the wall. And I looked around and then screamed, It was a man...My Father covered in blood with a hole through his head, He got shot...But then I winked hard it was all gone EVERYTHING My dad the blood ! “Hello darling what’s wrong...” Said my mother…I paused for a moment I dropped to the ground on the floor...as my mother said.”Are you ok?”...I shook my head and didn’t say a thing…I shook my head and shook my head my eyes were wide open and I kept blinking it was bloody sight and then it wasn’t...I saw somebody hung on a wall when I saw the blood. I couldn't handle it...Im leaving far away from this place I’m going home!
