Subject:Procedure for rebooking and waiving refund fee under the airport closure situation

Dear All Agents,

Due to SuvarnabhumiAirport closure since 25 November 2008, Bangkok Airways will suspend the domestic and international flights in and out from SuvarnabhumiAirporton26 November 2008 until the airport operations return to normal.

Bangkok Airways would like toinform the procedure for all passengers in regarding to rebook and waive refund feefor flights departing and arriving on the date that the airport is officially closedas follows:

  1. Only ticket issued on/before 26 November 2008 for traveling from 26 November – 07 December 2008is applicable to rebook or refund with no penalty.
  2. Passenger can rebook or cancel starting from 26 November 2008 – 07 February 2009 only.
  3. Re-routing is not permitted. In case passengers would like to re-route, the tickets must be refunded.

Waive Refund Fee

  1. Unused ticket can be fully refunded and waived refund fee as follow:
  2. Tickets issued by PG can be refunded at every PG ticketing office.
  3. Tickets booked through can be refunded through the website.
  4. Tickets issued by agents can be auto-refunded through BSP link by the original issuing agent. Please remark as “waive refund fee due to political unrests and airport closures”.

2. Partially used ticket can be refunded by applying refund application number (RAN) through BSP link and remark as “waive refund fee due to political unrests and airport closures”.

3. Group ticket can be refunded by submit the refund letter directly to PG sales department.

Rebook and Change flight/date

Rebooking must be done in the same PNR and booking class. Upgrade to a higher booking class is permitted subject to the collection of any fare different.

Once the airport operation is resumed, any passenger who misses the flight must be put on the next available flight. Please note that passengers who would like to refund the ticket after airport operations return to normal, normal refund procedure would be applied.

The above mentioned policies pertain solely to PG 829 issued ticket.
